The Passage (Animal Farm) #6

There are many passages that I found to be engaged and significant to me. Moreover, I have found a passage which is about pigs changing 7 commandments so that pig, themselves have more privileges. There are no doubts that this is not a significant passage because, this is so true in our world. Everyone who has power over someone else is always greedy. They want more and more out of others. In addition, people are keeping demanding that everyone should be equal; the only problem is that they are not being equal with other person. A person whom has power always has privileges. This passage is so powerful because what George Orwell is thinking throughout the book is so true. Every bad thing that we found in the book, we can find same mistakes in our own world, in government or ourselves. This passage makes other people think that pigs are greedy and bad however, what we really should think about is that we might be like pigs that are greedy and wanted more power and money over someone else. Even though we might not be one of them, we have to keep thinking about because in this sinful nature, human beings are born to sin. Moreover, at least once in a life time, we will be like the pigs that we think are bad. To think religiously through this passage, God treats us and wants us to be equal to one another and God loves us equally. However, in the passage, pigs are changing commandments because they want more privileges for themselves. If these pigs are us, we are not going to be loved by God unless we ask for forgiveness. One of the verses says that we have to do unto others as you want them to do to you. Pigs or we have to make the world more equal so that everyone could be happy. Being selfish and greedy might be good for few months or years but it is not going to last long time. So, none of the people should be like the pigs in the text because eventually the hurting ones are going to be the pigs.

THis passage was hilarious because the whole time the writing was pointing at you. The people with power are the ones who make the rules in our world just like the government does. However, it was also great the way you made the comparison against God's love, because it is equal. I liked your comparison between God and the governement. Overall I thought the whole post was insightful and funny.
