The Theme

Through reading the book "Fahrenheit 451,” the major theme of this novel is that due to the fact that people tend to have different activities going on such as watching TV, listen to music and everything got faster and easier that people just go out and be busy. Moreover, because of the fact that everyone is busy and hurried, they have no quite place to read and concentrate on books for days and days. In addition, by the fact that people don't wanting to be worse than people who read more books than us, we tend to hate people who read books a lot. So, because of this reasons, the books will disappear in the future. So even though, these are the factors that might make books disappear from the world, we should keep reading books to get knowledge and to calm ourselves. Therefore, we should think books as valuable source of knowledge.
This Theme is very important to every teenager in nowadays because, teenagers are people who feel like they are ignored and worse than others because others read more books than them and those parents often make teenagers read books. So we think that books are just boring but we are required to read just because our parents are telling us to. In addition, since the technology is developed, teenagers are who adopted these facts very fast. We know how to get information from the internet, how to search, and download things. I think the "quickest" people in the world are teenagers because they always try new things and discover things from the internet. So, due to the fact that teenagers are spending a lot of time using computers, we have no time to read books and get interested in book. In addition, we are competitive on everything and by knowing that people who read more books than us, we tend to hate those people who are smart. Moreover, some of the guys who doesn't like to read books, they just buy the books and not read which is like disappearing. So, teenagers are really related to the theme of the book and it is important for us teenagers to know that reading books are good and being concentrated in one thing is good. We are too close to technology things that we have no time. So, it is important to teenagers.

Vincent I have read the entry of "The Theme" and have found great interest in your response toward the theme. I totally agree with you that the teenagers are using all their time on high technology, but I can't agree with the actually theme that you are saying.
I also as a teenanger think that peers of my age doesn't have a problem that we are busy but I think that we are just drunk in technology and eventually losing the ability to literature. It is the same on the theme. In the book of Fahrenheit 451, people are just used to technology, looking how they act in the book, they have decided to baned literature because of the technological civilization they have.
But as a teenanger, I also think that technology such as internet, TV, computer, gameboys etc, are spoiling us and are making us avoid books, thats what is happening to me right now so I know haha....
