The Mood

The mood of this book is useful, dramatic, sad, and lost because, as the story goes along, basically, the book "Fahrenheit 451" is about Guy Montag wanting to save the books which are important to us. Moreover, it is suspenseful because you never know what is going to happen, he might burn it or keep it secretly and save the books. In addition, the mood is dramatic because once Guy Montag was obedient to Beatty however, eventually; Guy Montag ends up killing Beatty which is very dramatic and sudden change I think. The mood of the book is sad because, almost 2 out 4 main character dies. For Beatty, Guy Montag kills, in other word burns him to death and Guy Montag's wife, Mildred Montag attempts suicide and at last, she dies also. Moreover, Professor Faber leaves Guy Montag alone. Therefore, Guy Montag becomes alone and it is sad to lost close people from you. At last, the mood or the tone of the story is lost. Guy Montag is lost here in the book. Guy Montag is not sure about what he is doing until the point where he asks help from the professor Faber. It seems to me that Guy Montag is almost always lost in some point and that lead me to say that the mood or the tone is lost. Another mood that I could say is joy. Because of the fact that Guy Montag is finding or re-knowing the fact that there are good source that he could look up and find stuffs from the book. Moreover, I think it is a great pleasure to discover things like that. Even though throughout the book it involves killing others, I think from time to time, the mood changes to joy. In addition, in the last part of the book, Guy Montag finds a group of people who looks for the books and tries to save the books from burning. So I would say mood could be joy. As I said, this novel saddens me in the point where it tells me that in the future the books are going to be burned, or disappeared from our world and if this is true then I would be very sad because even though I not a reading person, I still want to read from time to time. In addition, as I said, the mood of the story could be sad and that makes me sad because loneliness is not very good. Being alone, could be the worst situation that you could ever experience. So, these things make me sadden.

Vincent, I think you write well as well as you play basketball. When you play basketball your unpredictable. You can dribble anyway you want twirl, spin, and fly and still make the ball go in. That is what your writing is like. It is unlike any other kind of writing, it is intersting, and you still make your points. Plus, it just makes you say wow. Excellent post.
